Introduction

·        By the word “Green Farming” we mean the production of vegetables and fruits without using Oxytocin and extensive use of Pesticides using IoT.

·        Using Applied research I want to introduce and Implement a wireless sensor for the detection of Oxytocin and the presence of pesticides that are proposed By  C.Chandravathi1*, K. Mahadevan2, P. K. Sheela Shantha Kumari3 and R. Hashir Ahamed3 in the research paper Detection of Oxytocin in Fruits and Vegetables using Wireless Sensor “ published in “Indian Journal of Science and Technology” Vol 9(16), 10.17485/ijst/2016/v9i16/92211, April 2016.

·        Green farming is the production of crops and livestock without the use of synthetic chemicals and inorganic fertilizers.(Exam studies)

·        Green agriculture aims at human welfare without any harm to the environment which is the foundation of human life itself.

What is IoT?

The Internet of Things(IoT) is the “things” embedded with electronics, software, sensors, and network connectivity.

It allows objects to be sensed and controlled remotely, resulting in improved efficiency accuracy, and economic benefit.

These capabilities include:

·       Communication and cooperation

·       Addressability

·        Identification

·       Sensing

·       Actuation

·       Embedded information processing

·        Localization

·       User interfaces

Applications of IoT

·        Building and Home automation

·       Manufacturing

·       Medical and Healthcare systems

·       Media

·       Environmental monitoring

·       Infrastructure management

·       Energy management

·       Transportation

·       Better quality of life for elderly……….

You name it, and you will have it in IoT!

PICOT IN(OXYTOCIN) Side Effects

Common side effects of Oxytocin include:

·       redness or irritation at the injection site

·       Loss of appetite

·       Nausea

·       Vomiting

·       cramping

·       stomach pain

·       Runny nose

·       Sinus pain or irritation

·       Memory problems.

The REAL effect of pesticides

Programming Languages that can be used for this

·        C

·       C++

·       Java/Javascript

·       Python

·       PHP

Tools and S/w requirements

Arduino:

·        Works as both Hardware specification for interactive electronics and software that includes an IDE and the Arduino Programming Language.

·        Is an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software.

·        Typically, these boards are microcontroller boards which means that it has no OS running.

·        Arduino board can be connected to a PC through the USB port.

Tools and S/w requirement Raspberry Pi:

·        It is a low-cost, credit-card size single-board computer(SBC) primarily intended for teaching computer science in schools.

·        Mostly Python/JavaScript programming is used and Java to a certain extent.

Eclipse IoT project: Support Application Frameworks and Services Open Source Implementations of IoT protocols including MQTT, CoAP, OMA-DM, and LWM2M.

Kinoma: Works as a DIY construction kit for prototyping electronic devices.Node-RED: Visual tool for wiring the internet of things.

IoTSyS: Work as IoT Middleware which provides a communication stack for smart devices.

OpenIoT: Open-source middleware used to get information from sensor clouds
